I have two of these. The wood handled version and this lovely antique jigged bone version.
The wood one is very well put together. Good half stops. Strong backsprings. Good snap. No blade wobble. Everything nice and smooth.
Then I got this bone version. At first glance, it's beautiful. Now the bad news. The center pins are sharp on the edges. The main blade wobbles and has no snap. That's because the backspring is weak. I can easily close it with my index finger. Fortunately the half stop is good. The bone looks great, and the pen blade had no issues. Unfortunately, these issues take a potential five star knife and knock it down to two stars. I'll happily carry the wood handled one.
This bone one looks pretty on the shelf, but I doubt I will carry it.
