Foster Bros. Boning Knife

Foster Brothers is a registered trademark of Cooper Cutlery LLC & made in Winchester, OH. Foster Brothers was founded in 1878 in New York by Frank and Allie Foster. They made high quality butcher knives and cleavers out of 1095 carbon steel until 1950. These knives are made out of 100 year old vintage 1095 Carbon Steel. These blades were in the attic of the Queen Factory when Cooper Cutlery purchased the contents. Using Peter's Heat Treating to heat treat them to 58-60 Rockwell with their frozen forge method. The handles are hard maple hand pinned with nickel silver pins. Limited quantities available.
