Spyderco’s Chaparral series of gentlemen’s folding knives shares a consistent design, with each model showcasing unique handle materials. The Chaparral Lightweight maintains the same functionality as its predecessors but features a durable, affordable, injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle. Its FRN construction reduces weight while offering excellent grip with Bi-Directional Texturing™. The nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners provide strength and precise alignment. The Chaparral Lightweight includes a full-flat-ground CTS® XHP stainless steel blade, ambidextrous one-handed opening via the Trademark Round Hole™, a sturdy back lock, and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip for discreet tip-up carry on either side.
