Battle Axe Brand was first made for A.R. Justice of Philadelphia, PA from 1877 - 1937. It was later revived about 1975-1990 by J.W. Hickey, Tommy Shouse & George Smith, who later became a partner in Blue Grass Cutlery. These knives were first made in Germany, then later made in America. These Battle Axe Stamps and Dies were at the Queen Factory when purchased by Cooper Cutlery.
They will be making a limited number of Battle Axe Brand knives in 2021, using these same dies.
