The innovative AXIS® lock changed the game — all thanks to the designer duo Benchmade collaborated with on the invention, Bill McHenry and Jason Williams, renowned custom knifemakers with watchmaking roots. The sleek, new 710FE-2401 is a testament to McHenry and Williams’ craftwork. Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of AXIS® lock technology, the 710FE-2401 has the same large frame and ample cutting power of the original 710 and features a stylish clip-point, recurved blade made of mighty CPM-S9OV steel with an FDE PVD finish and black thumb studs. The 710FE-2401 has a lightweight aluminum handle with milled dark gray anodized finish, and milled FDE PVD backspacer and pivot ring. A Limited anniversary variant, inspired by its original designers.
